Oman Air records best-ever times for flight punctuality
Analysis of 2013 data has shown that Oman Air has recorded its best-ever times for on-time performance.
Oman Air’s 30 fleet, across all 43 destinations within its network, achieved an average of 90% on-time performance from March to December 2013, with the whole-year average coming in at a fraction under 90%.
Captain Ali Sulaiman, chief office flight operations and chairman of Oman Air’s on-time performance committee, said: “Over the last two years, Oman Air has put great effort into improving our service standards and these latest figures show that we are achieving our ambitious targets.
“On-time performance is a key measure of an airline’s ability to deliver a high quality service and meet customers’ expectations, and our achievement of nearly 90% throughout 2013 puts Oman Air at the highest levels within the air travel industry.
“I would like to thank our staff within the Flight Operations department, and at the many airports across our network, for their hard work and commitment, and our customers for their invaluable feedback.”
