Oman Air extends International Student Fares deal

Oman Air has extended its special International Student Fares deal for Omani students between the ages of 12 and 25 who are enrolled in a full-time educational institution.

This value-added offer will allow students to benefit from fares reduced by up to 25% on both domestic and international flights to any of the airline’s 41 destinations across the globe.

AbdulRazaq J. Al Raisi, chief commercial officer at Oman Air, said that this initiative, first introduced in January 2010, stems from the airline’s strategy to invest in young people and empower them to reach their future goals and aspirations:

“Education forms the foundation of any society and we aim to encourage youth, who represent one of the most important assets in propelling the nation forward, to pursue higher education abroad and explore the world, gaining international exposure and learning from different cultures to augment personal and professional development.”

The International Student Fares will now be in effect until December 31st 2011.
