Oman Air to entice more visitors with more flights

Oman has moved promotion of its tourism into a higher gear as its national carrier, Oman Air, is increasing capacity across the network, reported the Gulf Times.

To attract more tourists from the GCC countries, its primary source of visitors, it has announced a slew of packages for short breaks of two or three nights in that country.

Oman Air manager in Doha, Ghalib Salem Bawazir, explained that the packages came at a time when the airline was increasing its number of Doha-Muscat-Doha flights by an impressive 120%.

The additional flights “give more flexibility and more convenience” to passengers not only to just Muscat, but to all points beyond, explained Bawazir.
