Changes at the top of Airbus
Airbus has appointed Fabrice Brégier as chief executive officer of Airbus; he is taking over the position previously held by Tom Enders, who was appointed CEO of the EADS group.
Based on a proposal by Brégier, approved by the Airbus board the manufacturer also appointed Günter Butschek as chief operating officer of Airbus.
John Leahy remains Chief Operating Officer – Customers, Tom Williams, Executive Vice President Programmes; Charles Champion, EVP Engineering and Domingo Urena-Raso Head of Airbus Military.
