Design consultancy PriestmanGoode was commissioned by Korean Air to reimagine the carrier's cabin interiors. The new cabin identity will be integrated in the new business class and economy class cabins for Korean's Boeing 787-9 and 787-10 aircraft. The airline’s Airbus A321neo aircraft interior also includes influences from this program.

The business class design pattern draws influences from multiple Korean sources, including Jogakbo patchwork craft, featuring geometric shapes and structured designs in a modern repeating motif, and the linear structures from the Jogakbo pattern reinterpreted into a contemporary embroidered stitch design.

Korean Air commissioned design consultancy PriestmanGoode to reinvent their cabin interiors in 2018. The result of that commission will now be part of Korean's growing fleet, including the airline’s recent order of 20 Boeing 787-10s (and 10 options) and 20 777Xs announced at the Farnborough Airshow.
