The Farnborough Airshow entry point as show organizers prepare for the event opening on Monday July 22.

Embraer’s new E190F cargo conversion is making its first public appearance at Farnborough, after performing its maiden flight earlier this year. The E190F program was formally launched by in 2022. The striking color scheme almost hides the large freight door on the forward end of the port side of the fuselage.

The Embraer E195-E2 passenger aircraft is being displayed in a bird of prey “profit hunter” livery in the static park alongside the new E190F cargo conversion aircraft.

Airshow technical staff prepare the Qatar Airways Boeing 787-9 for placement in the Farnborough Airshow static line-up. Boeing is not bringing any of its aircraft to the show this year.

Virgin Atlantic celebrated its 40th anniversary in June and named this new Airbus A330-900, registration G-VSRB, after airline founder Richard Branson. The widebody was delivered in May, joining four others of the same type in the fleet.

The carrier’s “flying lady” nose art has also been replaced with a new design, reflecting its Vivienne Westwood uniform that was introduced in 2014.
