La Réunion confirms plans to proceed with Indianocéanie LCC

The Regional Council of the French Indian Ocean possession of La Réunion has confirmed previously speculative plans to develop a regional Low Cost Carrier (LCC), reports ch-aviation.

The council's president, Didier Robert said: "Finally, we have committed to the creation of a low-cost carrier in the Indian Ocean. This company will be based at St. Pierre de la Réunion. It will be parented by Air Austral."
