Jordan Aviation applies for Emissions Trading Scheme
Jordan Aviation has said it submitted its European Emissions Trading Scheme monitoring, reporting and verification plans at the end of July.
It says that it is one of the first operators to submit the plan to authorities and that it has adopted the EU-ETS directive to reduce the impact of aviation on climate change.
The company said it had worked with SITA and AACO to prepare the plan well in advance of the August 31 deadline.
