Jazeera Airways set to stop several direct flights out of Dubai

Kuwaiti no-frills carrier Jazeera Airways will have to stop serving several of its international destinations out of Dubai because of "regulatory restrictions".

This weakens the airline’s second hub and means Jazeera will no longer operate flights to Delhi, Mumbai, Sana'a and Salalah non-stop from Dubai as of June. The services instead will have to go via Kuwait.

The regulatory changes also mean that services to southern Indian city Kochi and Sudanese capital Khartoum will not be available from June, the airline has said. Chief executive officer Andrew Cowen said Kochi is being taken off the network because of the "high cost of operating the route".
