Jazeera Airways announces a new air route to Deir ez-Zor
Kuwait and Dubai-based low-cost airline Jazeera Airways has announced the launch of its newest route from Kuwait to the north-eastern Syrian city of Deir ez-Zor.
According to Jazeera Airways officials, the flights will run twice a week from Kuwait on Tuesdays and Fridays at 1305.
“Deir ez-Zor is a highly exciting addition to the airway’s growing network of destinations,” said Jazeera Airways' chairman, Marwan Boodai, in an interview with Syria Today newspaper. “We are the first international and first low-cost airline in the region to offer direct flights to this understated yet exciting city, and with our mix of excellent flight timings, leather seating and low fares, we are really looking forward to welcoming even more of the region’s passengers on board, to experience this new and interesting destination.”
Jazeera Airways currently operates a fleet of eight new Airbus A320s from its two hubs in Kuwait and Dubai. The airline flies to destinations in the Middle East, North Africa, Europe, Iran and the Indian subcontinent.
