Gallery: Korean Air unveils A321neo with lie-flat business seats

The airline’s first A320 family aircraft is a single-aisle narrowbody with a total of 182 seats, and will mostly operate on short-haul routes, including Southeast Asia, China and Japan. Introducing the A321neo is part of the airline’s fleet modernization plans. The airline is slated to receive a total of 30 A321neo aircraft by 2027. 
 

The A321neo’s fully lie-flat Prestige business seats are said to provide seamless comfort to transfer passengers who have combined itineraries of long-haul flights on the Americas and Europe routes, and short-haul flights on Southeast Asia, China and Japan routes. 
 

For the first time, eight 180-degree flat-bed seats will be available in the Prestige class of the airline’s narrowbody fleet. 
 

Business class seats are equipped with a 44-cm (17.3 in.) personal monitor for audio/video on demand services, along with a wireless smartphone charger.  
 

Korean Air will offer 174 seats in economy class on its new model. Inflight internet will be available for purchase on the A321neo from the first half of next year. Starting from the A321neo, the Seoul-based airline will expand internet services to newly introduced aircraft.
