IATA reports year-over-year pax traffic growth of 2.4% in January 2020 (on 1.7% higher capacity), the lowest monthly increase since April 2010, when volcanic ash cloud crisis in Europe led to airspace closures and flight cancellations; air cargo fell 3.3%.
