IATA reports year-over-year global pax traffic rose 4.2% in 2019 (vs 7.3% growth in 2018) on 3.4% higher capacity; air cargo fell 3.3% on 2.1% higher capacity (weakest since 2009). For December, pax traffic increased 4.5% and air cargo decreased 2.7%.
