Gulf Air switches to paperless flight operations
Gulf Air has achieved paperless flight operations, using Jeppesen FliteDeck Pro as its electronic flight bag (EFB) solution.
Jeppesen provides digital navigation and flight information, delivered through iPad.
“Equipping Gulf Air’s flying crew with iPad EFBs on-board gives them a paperless way to manage in-flight data, streamlining our operational performance and giving our team greater capabilities and efficiencies. The EFBs help us bring the latest technologies to the cockpit, centralising information and enhancing our operations,” said Captain Nasser Al Salmi, Gulf Air chief operating officer.
FliteDeck Pro will reduce pilot workload and preparation time, as well as providing access to operational and flight information.
