Global online travel site rewards Etihad campaign
UAE airline Etihad Airways has been named by Expedia as the winner of the 2010 “Airline Campaign of the Year,” an award presented to the airline that has created the most impactful marketing campaign of the past year, encompassing engagement, creativity, relevancy and stellar results.
The global online travel site has been recognising advertising campaigns since 2007, Etihad received accolades for implementing online marketing campaigns which utilise brand integration, user experience and engagement, social media and video strategy.
Luca Romozzi, Expedia’s business development manager for the Middle East, said: “Etihad Airways has demonstrated an eagerness to innovate in marketing and find solutions for integrating their brand with our sales distribution strategies. The ingenuity of their campaigns is what makes Etihad a winner in marketing with Expedia.”
