General Electric plans African expansion
General Electric (GE) has announced hopes to expand into Africa, with Ethiopia and Mozambique proving to be potential locations.
The expansion should lead to double revenue and employees in the region, and will include development in GE’s aviation sector in Ethiopia.
GE announced plans in 2014 to invest $2 billion in its development in Africa by 2018 and double its workforce.
