Flights between Hargeisa and Mogadishu to be suspended
Somalia is due suspend flights between Mogadishu and Hargeisa on carriers, including African Express Airways and Jubba Airways, from 22nd Feburary, ch-aviation reports.
Abdullahi Gafow Mohamud, head of Somalia's Department of Immigration and Naturalisation, has said the move is in response to the minister of Interior, Ali Waranadde's announcement that all non-Somalilanders living in the region are required to have visas and work permits.
Hargeisa and Mogadishu have had a strained relationship since the region declared independence in 1991.
