Fastjet shareholder wins boardroom dispute
Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou has won his latest battle with Fastjet as Ed Winter and Krista Bates prepare to leave the company this week.
Fastjet chairman Colin Childs will take over until a replacement for Winter can be found.
“These changes are long overdue. These two individuals are responsible for the ridiculous overhead cost in the company. As shareholders, we hope that Colin Child as executive chairman will now cut such overhead costs before the company will run out of money," said Haji-Ioannou.
The general meeting that Haji-Ioannou requested has now been cancelled.
