Fastjet and Emirates enter into partnership
Fastjet and Emirates Airline have entered into an agreement which allows Emirates passengers to buy tickets on Fastjet's network across east and southern Africa, The National reports.
Passengers flying with Fastjet will also be able to travel across Emirates’ network via Dubai.
The deal will help Fastjet expand their networks, and is “a significant validation of our operation, service and proven low-cost model,” as confirmed by Richard Bodin, the Fastjet chief commercial officer.
The expansion of the network will help Fastjet in their goals to be the first pan-African discount carrier.
