Fastjet to consider trading fleet for smaller models
Fastjet could be trading its fleet of five A319-100s for smaller aircraft to better suite its current market.
Nico Bezuidenhout, Fastjet's incoming CEO, has said he needs to study the carrier’s operational data, and suspects the current fleet aircraft are too big.
Other factors will also be considered in attempt to overhaul the carrier’s financial structure, such as moving its base from London Gatwick to a location in Africa.
