Fast jet announces Johannesburg route

Fastjet has announced its newest route from Harare and Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe to Johannesburg, South Africa, upon an A319.

The route comes as Fastjet Zimbabwe received clearance the Zimbabwean and South African governments to operate the route.
Flights from Harare will commence next month on a daily service, with an extra flight expected to be added, with the flights from Victoria Falls running three times a week.
“When fastjet Zimbabwe’s first flight took off just 12 weeks ago, we promised that we would make air travel more accessible than ever before, and today’s announcement is a further significant step in fulfilling that promise” said Richard Bodin, Fastjet’s chief commercial officer.
This marks the first international flight for Fastjet Zimbabwe, and the carrier expects to receive approval for additional international flights.
