Ethiopian Airlines moved cargo operations

Ethiopian Airlines has moved its cargo operations from Brussels National, to Maastricht, Netherlands earlier this month, ch-aviation has reported.

The move follows the delayed response from the Belgian government after Ethiopian requested an extension of 5th Freedom traffic rights for flights to Dubai, Hong Kong and Shanghai.
TNT Airways and Leige Airport opposed the renewal, as Belgium’s Bilateral Air Services Agreement with Ethiopia did not cover the locations.
Ethiopian Cargo will serve six weekly flights onboard a B777-F.
