EgyptAir sign for eight B737-800s

EgyptAir is to finalise a deal with Singaporean BOC Aviation for eight B737-800s the Egyptian Minister of Civil Aviation, Hossam Kamal, has revealed to ch-aviation.

The agreement will be signed soon with the new aircraft replacing the carrier’s ageing fleet of A320-200s.
The carrier also operates a fleet of twenty B737-800s for domestic routes and European, African and Middle Eastern operations.
Sabre Airline Solutions has also been recruited to help loss-making EgyptAir turnaround.
