EgyptAir back to normal service for European destinations
EgyptAir has started operating normally to the European cities for the first time since the Icelandic volcano eruption
Cairo Airport has witnessed a great demand for flying to the European cities, especially London and Paris.
Captain Alaa Ashour, Chairman and CEO of EgyptAir Airlines, declared that, “I do thank EgyptAir's customers for their understanding of the situation and their productive cooperation which was essential in overcoming the crisis. Today, EgyptAir resumes its full operation to the European destinations which many of them are served by daily non-stop flights”.
Eng. Hussien Massoud, EgyptAir Holding Chairman and CEO, said that, “It is because of the mutual cooperation among the various sectors in the Ministry of Civil Aviation we could mitigate the crisis effects on our Egyptian and international customers. Also, I would like to thank All EgyptAiremployees who are still working hard to meet the customers’ demand for travelling to the European destinations. Moreover, EgyptAir Cargo and EgyptAir Express will carry on their normal services to the European airports.” He added that “The aviation industry these days is facing a lot of challenges, as this crisis added to airlines' burdens all over the world.”
