Egypt Air resumes service to transit passengers through Cairo
EgyptAir will resume transit services through Cairo Airport from tomorrow. (Thursday).
The airline stopped passengers transitting the capital’s airport during the height of the civil unrest.
In a statement today EgyptAir announced the operation of 42 international and domestic flights for tomorrow. It will operate 31 international flights to London, Paris, Frankfurt, Milan, Rome, Istanbul, Madrid, Khartoum, Amman, Beirut, Damascus, Jeddah (three flights), Riyadh, Dammam, Kuwait, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Tripoli, Bangkok, Bahrain, Bahrain, Algeria, Casablanca, Malta and Sharjah.
There will also be single flights from Alexandria to Jeddah, Kuwait, Riyadh and Dammam as well as 11 domestic flights from Cairo to Sharm El Sheikh (3 flights), Aswan, Hurghada (2 flights), Luxor (3 flights) – and Marsa Allam plus one flight from Alexandria to Hurghada - Hurghada to Sharm EL- Sheikh, -Sharm El- Sheikh to Hurghada before finally returning to Alexandria.
