From The Editors: Major Upcoming Changes To Routes And ATW

Karen Walker and David Casey outline the improvements coming soon to Air Transport World and Routes magazines and Digests.

Feedback from our industry partners has indicated that bringing together news from across Aviation Week Network’s air transport brands into one channel, would offer a more holistic and comprehensive source of information for members of the air transport industry.

As a result, a new Airports & Networks channel will be available in early February on AviationWeek.com. Combining key insights, analysis and commentary from Routes, and our sister brands, ASM, CAPA and GAD, it will offer the most comprehensive coverage of all areas of the air transport industry. This news channel will be supported by the new Airports & Networks Digest Newsletter, encompassing news previously included in the Routes Digest, delivered directly to your inbox Monday-Friday.

Airport and network planning content from Routes magazine will also be fully integrated into Air Transport World. Distributed ten times a year, the publication will also include key insights, analysis, and commentary from ASM, CAPA & GAD. Members of the route development community that previously received a physical copy of the Routes magazine will be automatically added to the mailing list for ATW, ensuring continued insight into:

  • Airline management
  • Airport infrastructure and investment
  • Cargo
  • Fleet planning
  • Network planning

We believe this refined offer not only provides all the subjects areas of interest to you, but also a unique opportunity to highlight the importance of route development to a far wider air transport audience.
