Dubai Airshow: Nepal Airlines opts for Airbus
Nepalese national carrier Nepal Airlines has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for an Airbus A330-200 and an A320. If converted into an order, it would be worth $250 million at catalogue prices.
The A330-200 will be deployed on North Asia and European routes and will play an important supporting role in helping develop the country’s tourism sector, especially its “Visit Nepal 2011” campaign aimed at attracting foreign visitors.
The A320 will operate on regional routes, including those to the Middle East.
