Dubai 2011: $280m Indonesian order for Rolls-Royce

British engine maker Rolls-Royce has won a US$280 million order from Garuda Indonesia Airlines for Trent 700 engines to power four Airbus A330s.

In addition, the airline confirmed a previous order for Trent 700s to power an additional six A330s announced last year.

All ten aircraft will have long-term TotalCare service support.

The order brings the total number of Garuda’s Trent 700-powered A330s to 20, all covered by the engine OEM’s after sales package.
