Canary Islands eyes new Freedom hub
Canary Islands plan to develop a 5th Freedom international gateway, converting one of the islands' airports.
The government of the Canary Islands are in discussion with the Spanish Ministry of Development over plans for a new Freedom hub.
Las Palmas and Tenerife Sur are rumoured to be in the running for development, with CEIBA Intercontinental, Ethiopian Airlines and South African Airways showing interest in the hub.
