Airlines Want More SAF Investment When UK Free Emissions Allowances End

After confirmation that their free allowances under the UK’s Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS) will be phased out in 2026, airlines in the country have called for the extra funds generated to be invested in decarbonization measures, including increasing the availability of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF).
