Several manufacturers and related trade groups are pushing FAA to extend the comment period on a new system safety assessment (SSA) draft rule, citing workload on other rulemakings as well as the limited number of experts available to weigh in while handling certification duties.

United Airlines has worked with several partners to establish a new multi-million-dollar fund to support the development and production of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). 

Organizers of the World Expo 2025 in Osaka, Kansai, have selected the partners with which they plan to showcase advanced air mobility (AAM) in Japan.

UK startup Hans Airways may relinquish its first aircraft and is stepping up dialogue with prospective lessors and investors as the prospective long-haul carrier struggles to meet the financial conditions needed to begin operations.
