LONDON–London’s City Airport has declared its new digital remote air traffic control tower operational. The new 50 m (164 ft.)-high structure topped with Saab’s Digital Tower technology took over from London City’s conventional tower on top of its passenger terminal building on Jan. 23. The airport operator finally announced the facility was fully operational on April 30.
