Arik Air launches new wine list
Arik Air has introduced a new wine selection from the Wildekrans Wine Estate, an hour away from Cape Town's city centre.
The carrier’s long haul services to New York, London and Johannesburg, will offer a ‘From Our Cellar’ wine menu in Premier Business Class.
The new selection will be slowly introduced to all domestic and regional business class services over the next few months.
To celebrate the new menu, Arik Air celebrated with a wine tasting event in Lagos.
“With the introduction of our new premium local wines, we continue to develop our on-board experience which reflects our commitment to quality,” said Dr Michael Arumemi-Ikhide, CEO at Arik Air.
Economy drinks choices will include Sauvignon Blanc and Merlot while Business Class passengers will have a selection of Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Pinotage, Cabernet Franc Merlot and the sparkling Method Cap Classique Chenin.
