Gallery: A Look at Vienna Airport’s Newly Designed Terminal 2
After two years of being dominated by the coronavirus pandemic, Vienna International Airport reopened Terminal 2 on March 29, 2022. The airport invested €62 million ($66.2 million) to completely modernize and expand its oldest airport terminal to encompass new features and to ensure a new travel experience for passengers. Other improvements include an exclusive lounge, new restaurant offerings, a centralized security checkpoint and additional baggage conveyor belts. As a result, the airport will once again operate the entire terminal infrastructure. Passengers will have all departure areas in Terminals 1, 2 and 3 at their disposal.
