Dar es Salaam Julius Nyerere International Airport (JNIA) in Tanzania is not one of the largest airports in Africa, but since the opening of Terminal 3 in August 2019 and Air Tanzania’s fleet expansion with Airbus A220-300s and Boeing 787-8s, is one of the most modern aviation infrastructures in East Africa.
Aviation Week correspondent Kurt Hofmann traveled through Dar es Salaam recently and shares exclusive pictures.
