WORLD ROUTES: Swedavia to Launch Connect Sweden Partnership

Swedish airport operator, Swedavia, is to launch a brand new collaboration today, October 6, 2013 at this year’s World Routes in Las Vegas, which is set to promote Sweden’s international air connectivity. The Connect Sweden principle will support the launch of new direct routes by promoting the capital, Stockholm, and Sweden as a destination on relevant markets. This will supplement Swedavia’s current incentive programs and further increase the attractiveness for airlines to invest in the region.

The collaboration is backed by representatives from the Swedish business community, the city of Stockholm, and several other national and regional organisations, together with Swedavia Swedish Airports and is due to be formally unveiled at 15:00 local time by Torborg Chetkovich, president and chief executive officer of Swedavia Swedish Airports.

Look out for more information in tomorrow’s The HUB Daily, including an interview with Swedavia’s Torborg Chetkovich.
