Time is running out to enter the World Routes 2017 Marketing Awards. Airlines have just a week left to nominate the airports and tourism boards that have supported the expansion and launch of new services through route marketing.
High achievers must also be nominated for the ‘Individual Award for Outstanding Contribution to Route Development’ by 28 July. The category has been introduced to recognise the efforts of the people who make the aviation industry tick, driving growth through new services.
Senior airline executives will judge the airport and destination categories, while a panel of executives from the wider aviation industry will review the award for individuals.
The shortlisted people and organisations will join the overall winners of the regional Routes Marketing Awards (Denver International Airport, Changi Airport and Munich Airport) at an awards ceremony in Barcelona on 25 September.
More information about the award categories and the voting process can be viewed on the World Routes website.
