World Routes 2013: Tell me about the Tours!

This year Routes will be offering its widest range of tours yet with a mixture of complimentary and discounted tours available all kindly arranged by our Hosts and their partners. From hiking, biking and NASCAR driving experiences to helicopter tours over the Grand Canyon or historic experiences, there are tours to suit all tastes and all are available with a discounted rate when quoting “WR2013”.

  • Flightlinez Bootleg Canyon- Located just 30 minutes outside of Las Vegas, Flightlinez offers you unrivalled views of Las Vegas, Lake Mead and Eldorado Valley as you zipline across them!
  • Escape Adventures- Escape Adventures are offering 3 tours including scenic road tours, off-road single track tours and hiking tours of the Red Rock Canyon national Conservation Area, conveniently location just 30 minutes from downtown Las Vegas.
  • The Mob Museum- The Mob Museum offers an insight and the overall history of the famous gangs and the law enforcement forces who fought against them during a notorious period in Las Vegas’ history.
  • Richard Petty and Exotics Racing- Enjoy the chance to drive a genuine NASCAR race car with Richard Petty’s driving experience or some of the fastest and most expensive road cars in the world with Exotics Racing.
  • Pink Jeep tours- Jump in a pink jeep and enjoy the chance to cruise round the Grand Canyon National Park, or visit the Grand Canyon itself for a once in-a-lifetime opportunity.
  • Maverick Helicopter Tours- A unique experience in every instant delegates are able to choose from a night time flight over the Las Vegas Strip, an exhilarating flight over the Hoover Dam with a Grand Canyon landing or a trip by aeroplane, helicopter and foot to the Grand Canyon National Park.
  • Dig This- A heavy equipment playground for all of those who wish drive some of the industry’s most powerful diggers, tractors and heavy operating machinery.
  • The Springs Preserve- Known as the birthplace of Las Vegas this, Springs Preserves offers a tranquil view of what Las Vegas was like thousands of years ago when it was home to bubbling springs, and later as the source of water for Native Americans and pioneers who settled the West.

Complimentary Tours

Alongside this mix of adrenaline fuelled and relaxing excursions, a complimentary tour programme has been generously arranged by Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority and their partners.

These tours include a “Las Vegas Strip & Downtown City Tour” which will take you from the iconic “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign to the residential areas, visiting the strip, iconic hotels, the dazzling Fremont Street and the most popular sights and sounds of Las Vegas on the way.

Another complimentary tour available to all registered delegates is the T3 tour at McCarran International Airport, where delegates will be given a preview of this state-of-the-art terminal, the most comprehensive expansion in the airports history. The terminal incorporates cutting edge technology throughout, from security features to its ticketing and baggage handling, all designed to offer guests a first-class experience.

World Routes 2013 will be co-hosted by Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority (LVCVA) and Las Vegas McCarran International Airport the latter of which forms an essential hub for such a popular destination. Located just one mile from Las Vegas Boulevard and less than 4 miles from the Las Vegas Convention Center, McCarran International Airport is a true centre for aviation, tourism and events in Las Vegas.
