Virgin America seeks Toronto service

Virgin America has applied to the DOT to commence new non-stop services from Los Angeles and San Francisco to Toronto from this summer. From SFO Virgin America will compete with United Airlines and Air Canada, whilst from LAX, it will compete with American Airlines and Air Canada.

Virgin America has also revealed its intention to start new services from LAX and SFO to Orlando, with new daily flights from Augsut 19th. The carrier already serves Fort Lauderdale on a double daily from both source markets.
