UNITED Plans Winter Trans-Atlantic Capacity Reduction

Based on schedule updates over the weekend of 07APR12, United Airlines is implementing capacity reduction on Trans-Atlantic flights to Europe for Winter 2012 season. Planned reduction based on 07APR12 schedule includes:

  • Chicago – Amsterdam 03JAN13 – 09MAR13 Service to operate 5 weekly instead of 6 weekly in Winter 2011
  • Newark – Berlin eff 14NOV12 Service to operate 4 weekly instead of 5 weekly in Winter 2011 (However capacity will be increased when 767-200ER replaces 757 from 07JAN13, -400ER from 04FEB13)
  • Newark – Copenhagen eff 26SEP12 Service Cancelled
  • Newark – Rome eff 11NOV12 Service Suspended for Winter season
  • Washington Dulles – Dublin
  • 20SEP12 – 06JAN13 Service reduces from Daily to 5 weekly for Winter season
  • 07JAN13 – 10MAR13 Reduces from 5 weekly to 4 weekly
  • Washington Dulles – Frankfurt eff 16OCT12 Service Reduces from 3 to 2 Daily for Winter season, UA952/953 cancelled
  • Washington Dulles – Manchester
  • 01SEP12 – 06JAN13 Service reduces from Daily to 5 weekly for Winter season
  • 07JAN13 – 09MAR13 Reduces from 5 weekly to 4 weekly
  • Washington Dulles – Moscow Domodedovo eff 27OCT12 Service Suspended for Winter season
