Tiger Adds Taipei Service; Capacity up to China
Tiger Airways Singapore will add an international service to Taipei on 11 January, 2011, as well as increase its frequencies to Greater China.
From October 2010, the airline will ramp up its frequencies to Greater China from 44 to 68 a week between four of its routes.
The additional flights will be to Guangzhou (increasing from 7 to 14 a week); Hong Kong (from 14 to 21 a week), Macau (from 11 to 12 a week) and Shenzhen (from 5 to 7 a week).
The other 14 routes include seven weekly flights to Haikou and the new 7-weekly to Taipei.
Rosalynn Tay, managing director of Tiger Airways Singapore, said: "This expansion will be supported by our fleet increase from 10 to 14 by December 2010. We look forward to announcing more services that our increased capacity enables."
