THAI Reveals Additional Service Expansion for Winter 2012

Based on latest information appeared in the GDS as of 03SEP12, THAI has revealed additional service increases on selected markets. In particular, the Star Alliance member will further add capacity to Myanmar with 4th daily wide-body service to Yangon.

THAI's Winter 2012/13 planned service increase summary as follows:

Bangkok – Brisbane Service increases from 5 weekly to daily for entire Northern Winter season, on board 2-class 777-300 (Previously TG plans daily service from 03DEC12 to 03FEB13)
Bangkok – Brussels
eff 28OCT12 3-class Boeing 777-300ER (leased from Jet Airways) replaces 2-class 777-200ER. Seat map has been adjusted as of 03SEP12 to reflect the 3-class aircraft, including introduction of First Class.

Bangkok – Busan Service increases from 3 weekly (Day 145) to 5 weekly (Day x26)

Bangkok – Sapporo NEW Service with A330-300 3 times a week. 4th weekly flight starting from 25DEC12
Bangkok – Seoul Incheon – Los Angeles NEW 2-class Boeing 777-300ER replaces 777-200ER, 4 weekly
Bangkok – Stockholm Winter 2012 service operates 9 weekly, increased from daily in W11. 2 of 9 weekly flights operating to Phuket on inbound
Hong Kong – Taipei Taoyuan Planned service resumes from 28OCT12 as reservation re-opened in late-August 2012. 1 Daily A330 service
