TAM officially joins Star Alliance

TAM Linhas Aereas has become the 27th official member of Star Alliance, offering Star access to the largest carrier in Brazil, offering 867,483 weekly seats in its system with a market share of 41% share of total seat capacity in the Brazilian market.

TAM operates to 84 scheduled destinations with its major hub being based at Sao Paulo Guarulhos International.
