Spanair adds African connections

In a busy week for Spanair the carrier also announced two new services to Africa from Barcelona From December 18th it will launch service to Bamako, Mali. This will be operated once-weekly with A321 equipment. From February 14th, the Star Alliance member will launch A320 service to Tripoli, Libya to be operated on a thrice-weekly basis. Both routes are currently unserved.
