Spanair to add German links

Star Alliance member Spanair has announced new services to Germany commencing April 2011. Operating from its Barcelona hub, Spanair will introduce new scheduled service to Hamburg, effective April 4^th to be operated thrice-weekly and the following day, it will begin a four-times weekly service to Berlin Tegel. The new routes will attack Air Berlin which operates a thrice-weekly service to Hamburg and a five-times weekly service to Berlin Tegel from Barcelona.
