Southwest Airlines Outlines Spring 2013 Changes

Southwest Airlines has revealed its planned operational schedule at Spring 2013, effective 09MAR13. The new spring schedules sees the launch of Southwest’s own Branson MO service, with 22 weekly flights from 4 destinations. The airline is also adding new routes on 5 new markets.

Details:

Branson – Chicago Midway 1 daily
Branson – Dallas Love Field 1 daily
Branson – Houston Hobby 1 daily
Branson – Orlando 1 weekly (Saturdays)
Newark – Austin 1 daily
Newark – Nashville 2 daily
Newark – New Orleans 1 daily
New Orleans – Key West 1 daily
Orlando – Dayton 1 daily

Other Changes:
Chicago Midway – Philadelphia Increases from 6 to 7 daily
New York La Guardia – Milwaukee 4 daily (airTran operation ends on 08MAR13, currently 6 weekly)
Tampa – Columbus airTran 1 daily operation ends on 08MAR13

airTran will no longer operate service to Branson MO.
