Sky Work Airlines offers new destinations from Bern

Sky Work Airlines offers new destinations from Bern
Hamburg and Berlin in 90 minutes!
Belp, 05 July 2010 - Sky Work Airlines will be offering two new scheduled flights from Bern
this coming winter. It will be possible to fly direct to Berlin and Hamburg several times a
week from the 6 and 8 December respectively. Tickets can be booked from 10 July onwards.
Flights to Berlin Schönefeld will take place three times a week on Mondays, Fridays and Sundays.
Flights to Hamburg will be scheduled for twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
These new flights are in addition to the existing scheduled flights to Barcelona and Rotterdam.
Bern is acquiring an ever-increasing range of direct flights to large European cities with
departure times which are suitable for both business and leisure trips.
Furthermore, the catering for guests on board a Sky Work Airlines flight is to become a culinary
experience. Tasty snacks will now be served on board all flights and will match the cuisine
of the destination concerned. This concept is being implemented on all charter and
scheduled flights. So if you are heading for Greece, you can enjoy a traditional Greek salad
and when you return to Switzerland, you will be offered Swiss cheese tartlets. The dishes are
freshly prepared by Bonapp Catering before the flight and delivered directly to the plane. This
involves no additional charges for the passengers, even if they are travelling economy class.
Nicholas Gribi, CEO of Sky Work Airlines commented:
" We are delighted to be able to add two new destinations to our route network. Berlin and
Hamburg have not been selected by chance - Berlin in particular is one of the most frequently
visited cities in Europe. Conversely, the Bernese Oberland is a very popular destination for our
neighbours to the north. We hope to gain passenger traffic from the Hamburg region in particular.
Our aim is to be unique and innovative. This is why we have introduced the new catering concept.
We want to offer our passengers an individual and special service. Flying is something
special. This feeling has been pushed aside in the low-cost era. Sky Work Airlines should not be
just a Bern flight option but the good Bern flight option."
In spite of the high-class catering on board, tickets to the new destinations will not be more
expensive. From a starting price of CHF 79, everything is included.
