Singapore Airlines Expands A380 Operation to Tokyo and San Francisco

Singapore Airlines on Tuesday 24JUL12 has announced further changes to its planned Winter 2012/13 operation. Notable changes includes additional Airbus A380 service to Tokyo Narita and new A380 flight to San Francisco.

Highlights:

Singapore – Frankfurt – New York JFK 27DEC12 – 24MAR13 Boeing 777-300ER replaces Airbus A380
Singapore – Hong Kong – San Francisco 28DEC12 – 24MAR13 Airbus A380 replaces Boeing 777-300ER on daily basis. Hong Kong service therefore receives 2 daily A380 flight
Singapore – Tokyo Narita 28DEC12 – 24MAR13 Airbus A380 aircraft operates 2 daily, replacing 1 daily each of A380 and 777-300ER

These changes will be reflected in the GDS in the next few days.
