Nearly 1,100 aviation industry decision makers gathered in Budapest for the 8th annual Routes Europe. Over 4,000 face-to-face meetings took place between delegates representing 115 airlines, 350 airports and 50 tourism authorities making it the largest regional regional route development event, ever!
All of the regions low cost carriers attended the event, Ryanair, easyJet, Norwegian, Wizz Air, Germanwings, Volotea, Vuelling and Transavia. Not to mention, we had the largest delegation of full service carriers ever at Routes Europe with Lufthansa, British Airways, Iberia, Air France, Swiss, Austrian, SAS, Czech Airlines, Alitalia all in attendance.
Aeroflot, S7, Rossiya, Rusline and Belavia gave us the largest ever delegation from the CIS region whilst from the Middle East we had Etihad Airways, Emirates and Oman Air.
448 airport delegates met in beautiful Budapest, representing almost 70 different countries. France alone accounted for 47 airports of the 350 airports in attendance!
