Routes CIS Expects Records Numbers

In just over two weeks time the 2ndRoutes CIS event will open in Ekaterinburg Russia with registrations still being received from many first time attendees and with scheduling now entering its final phase make sure you have requested your meetings as the event looks set to surpass the expected number of 200 delegates.

For several of the companies registered so far, Routes CIS 2012 will be the first time they have attended a Routes event. Airlines such as Kyhrgyzstan Air Company, Polet Airlines, Yakutia Airlines, VIM Airlines and Tartastan Airlines will make their inaugural Routes appearance in Ekaterinburg alongside Kazan Airport, International Airport Barnaul, Belgorod International Airport and Koeln Tourismus Gmbh.

Currently 26 airlines are registered to attend the event with, unsurprisingly, a strong participation from the CIS based airlines. Attendees so far include S7Airlines, Rossiya, Aerosvit, Air Astana, VIM, Polet, Yakutia, Tartastan, Kuban Airlines, Ural Airlines and Kyrgyzstan Air with more expected to confirm soon.

Interest from the Middle East carriers comes in the shape of Etihad and Qatar, whilst FlyDubai and Pegasus which have strong respective networks into the CIS region will also attend. Air Baltic will also be present and there will be a senior representation from Czech Airlines which operates 11 routes in Russia and the Ukraine combined from Prague.

Other out of region attendees include European leading Low Cost Carrier Ryanair and SkyTeam member China Southern who also recently confirmed their attendance.

Other recent registrations include, new airport, Fyodoronks-Omsk Airport, Irkutsk International Airport, Vnukovo Airport Moscow and ThyssenKrupp Airport Systems along with Chelyabinsk, Sofia and Friedrichshafen Airports who will attend Routes CIS for the first time this year.
